Kinsale is one of the most beautiful and historically significant towns in Ireland and at just over an hour from Cobh, it's a perfect fit for a day ashore.
Sean takes you through the colourful streets of the town, explains the pivotal Battle of Kinsale and its consequences for Irish history, and takes you to Charles Fort overlooking the harbour. It's a town that genuinely rewards having a knowledgeable guide.
Depending on your time ashore, the excursion can be extended to take in more of West Cork, the dramatic Old Head of Kinsale, the ancient Drombeg Stone Circle, or the coastal villages that make this part of Ireland so special.
