This excursion starts in Cobh, the Titanic connection, the Lusitania tragedy, the Great Famine emigration ships that left from this very harbour. Sean puts you in the picture before the town does, so every plaque and monument means something when you reach it.
From Cobh, the excursion moves into Cork city. The English Market, St Fin Barre's Cathedral, Blackrock Castle, and the story of a city that has always been defined by its relationship with the sea.
